USAC quickly tackles motions at meeting

Nov. 13, 2007 6:35 p.m.

The Undergraduate Students Association Council sped through the night’s meeting, voting unanimously to change the bylaws and raise the Academic Success Referendum Fund application cap to $1,000.
The prior cap was at $500 and had a one-request-per-quarter limit. There is no current request limit.
A special presentation by the Internet company Give2Network began the meeting, introducing a money-making Internet browsing toolbar to the council. It would give organizations on campus the ability to earn money each time someone used their specific toolbar to search the web.
A new Office Space Allocation Committee member and alternate were also appointed.
