Petty theft

A trash can, dustbin and Maglite, totallying $30 in value, were
stolen from an electrical room on the 3100 block of Sawtelle
Boulevard on Sept. 28.

Two tires totaling $100 in value were removed from a locked
bicycle at the UCLA School of Dentistry on Sept. 28.

A cell phone worth $200 was stolen from the 19000 block of
Ventura Boulevard on Sept. 26.

Grand Theft

A purse worth $670 was stolen from the UCLA Center for Health
Sciences on Sept. 28.

Burglary

Cameras totalling $1,100 in value were stolen from a locked
cupboard in the UCLA Center for Health Sciences between Sept. 15
and Sept. 28.

A PlayStation 2 and some video games worth $250 were stolen from
the 400 block of Gayley Avenue on Sept. 27.

Suspicious activity

Someone was loitering in front of Ackerman Union and yelling at
passersby on Sept. 28.

Penal code violation

Someone’s Amazon.com account was broken into, and three
unauthorized purchases totaling $3,000 were made between Aug. 25
and Aug. 27.

Brandishing a weapon

Two people were reported to be brandishing a handgun inside a
vehicle in De Neve Plaza on Sept. 29.
