Who will be the next champ?

The 2005-2006 athletic season began as a year of destiny. This
was the year that UCLA had a good chance to become the first school
in the history of the NCAA to win 100 national championships. But
as May approaches, the Bruins are still stuck on 97 titles, despite
close calls from women’s soccer and,
surprisingly, men’s basketball. But the season
is not over. UCLA still has teams in the hunt for a national
championship. Here is a closer look at four of the Bruin squads
that have a chance to bring home title No. 98 before the athletic
season ends.
