How worthwhile do you think student-led seminars are? Would you
take one? Jared Coelho Fourth-year, sociology
“I’m not opposed to having someone teach me who is an
undergrad if they’ve demonstrated a special ability in their
field.” Diana Campos

Second-year, ecology, behavior and
evolution

“I would take one because I think that it’d be
beneficial in ways beyond just the academic sphere. It could bring
people into a space where they could share their perspectives in a
freer environment.”

Hilary Quatinetz Fourth-year, computer science
“I wouldn’t waste my time with that stuff. I’m a
little skeptical because I don’t know if other undergrads are
qualified to judge my work.” Chris Benderev
First-year, undeclared
“I’m a bit hesitant
because qualifications are very important, not to say that students
can’t teach as well, but on the whole it’s a
troublesome thing because you wouldn’t want the classes to
become too prominent.” Kimberly Adler Fourth-year,
ecology, behavior and evolution
“They would
definitely not be academically worthwhile, but I would definitely
take one. The topics seem to be more interesting, so sign me
up.”
