Masturbation not a proper topic for quality
newspaper

I found Lara Loewenstein’s column, “Bone up on
stimulating masturbation techniques,” in the Feb. 28
Viewpoint section utterly distasteful.

This column’s topic is not a subject that merits the kind
of journalistic excellence that the Daily Bruin is known for.

While I suspect that there is a correct way in which to discuss
this issue, in my judgment this article was very vulgar and
outright trash.

The Daily Bruin really needs to “bone up on quality
journalism.”

This was an article for the L.A. Weekly or some other trashy
tabloid, not for the honorable Daily Bruin publication.
