Have you gotten involved in the USAC election process?
Wilson Vong Second-year, biochemistry “Yes,
I have. I think we need a voice in this place. … It’s good
that we start voting; we need to be more active in this
school.” Nima Samadi First-year, political
science “No, and I’m undecided. I’m not
sure whether I’m going to vote. I guess in general I’m
just uninterested in what goes on; I don’t feel that it
really affects me.” Joey Rafaeli Third-year,
psychology “Yes. I went onto MyUCLA.edu, and I found
the link over there pretty easy. It was easy and fun, and I felt
like I was connected to the school in some sort of political
way.” Nick Ocana Fourth-year, mathematics
“I’m planning to vote. Basically, my motivation is to
choose the candidate that seems to represent our student body the
most and actually seems committed toward reviewing what USAC
actually does for the students.”
