“Peach Blossom Fan”
Roy and Edna Disney/CalArts Theater
Apr. 9-24, 8:30 p.m. REDCAT, located in the Walt Disney Concert
Hall, presents Chen Shi-Zheng’s 21st century production of
this classic Chinese opera by KungShang-Ren. Edward Mast’s
adaptation explores the irony inherent in the empire’s
decadence. The production also features new music by The Magnetic
Fields’ Stephin Merritt. Tickets are $10-$15 for students.

“One Flea Spare”
