Oscar Wilde once argued that life imitates art, and if your only
exposure to the OC so far has been one addictive, trashy and, dare
I say it, artistically relevant FOX show, then spring break figures
to be the prime time to scope out the sunbaked scenery in all its
bare-skinned glory.
Just head to Laguna Beach and let your skewed illusions take
hold. There you’ll be surrounded not only by pleasant eye
candy, but you’ll have access to low-cost art galleries,
organic food joints, hiking trails and most importantly, the
idyllic Crystal Cove Beach about 2 miles south of the main town,
off Pacific Coast Highway. It’s one of OC’s treasures,
and it may just convince you that FOX got it wrong. OC isn’t
all about the hot babes, it’s also about the serene pockets
of unsullied land where you can connect with nature ““ and
scope out hot babes.
