MEChA de UCLA would be crazy to debate on KABC radio
(“Bruin Republicans wants debate,” March 9). Being the
home of Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity and Larry Elder, KABC is
hardly an impartial venue. Al Rantel most certainly has a political
agenda, and has made public his support for the Bruin Republicans
both on the radio and in print. MEChA should decline the invite,
unless the Bruin Republicans would agree to a debate on National
Public Radio with Tavis Smiley the next day. That would level the
playing field.
