Maybe it’s time you actually meet the 268 friends on your
“Friends” list. No, not through your nifty Web cam. Try
some good old-fashioned face-to-face contact. Since spring 2003,
tangible relationships have been slowly eroding thanks to the
Friendster addiction. A marriage proposal through Friendster is
just around the corner. Stop letting the Internet make friends for
you. Instead, impress your classmates and co-workers by making
friends all by yourself! Don’t be shy; frequent a bar, talk
to that lonely wingman in the corner. If it means going home with a
mysterious stranger, so be it.
