Protest sign not about race

Michael Cox is reading way too much into the
“soap” protest sign ““ whether intentionally
trying to be misleading or out of plain old politically correct
thinking. (“Counterprotest sign is unacceptable,
offensive,” Nov. 21)

As far as I’m concerned, this protest is not about any
sort of oppression, or any racial issues.

Five to 10 counterprotesters do not constitute an
oppressive group, so his historical reference to the Nazis or white
supremacists completely is misapplied in this case. Calling the
protesters “progressive” while condemning the
counterprotesters for exercising the same constitutionally
protected rights is hypocrisy in its highest form.
