Should lap dances be allowed in Los Angeles or was the city
council right to ban them? Jim Wood

Graduate student, film
“My general feeling is that there is a time and a place for
everything. I do not know if Los Angeles is the time and the place
to ban lap dancing. I think that we allow much worse things, so
morality should not be a factor.”

Babak Khakshoor

Fourth-year, computer science and
engineering

“I think that lap dances should be allowed. I would also sign
one of those petitions that are going around campus to allow lap
dancing.”

Bianca Javier

First-year, business economics
“I do not think they should be banned. I, myself, do not care
for lap dances, but strippers should be allowed to offer their
services.”

Sapna Singh

Third-year, psychology
“I do not think I know enough about the situation. Morally, I
think that as long as lap dances are not bothering anyone else,
they should be allowed.”
