After being sidelined for almost the entire 2001-02 season due
to a history of mild concussions, Michelle Greco returned to the
basketball court this year with renewed intensity.

The senior guard led the Pacific 10 Conference in scoring,
averaging 19.3 points per game, and was the driving force behind
UCLA’s emergence as an NCAA Tournament contender. Greco was a
finalist for the Wade Trophy, given to the top women’s
basketball player in the nation, and was named to the All-Pac-10
Team for the second time.

She leaves UCLA among the all-time leaders in scoring, assists,
steals and floor burns. After being one of the last players cut by
the WNBA’s Cleveland Rockers, Greco will pursue basketball in
Italy after graduation.
