Surfing for sport

With the creative vision of Matt Ball, Dave Ball, Nick Carey and
Blane Kezerian, all of whom play on the UCLA football team,
www.goterriers.com was
born. This site parodies the campus atmosphere of college athletics
through a fantasy university called “California
A&M.” Containing inside jokes surrounding the UCLA
coaching staff and teammates, www.goterriers.com is actually a
spinoff of the earlier site www.clownpoop.com.

“Creating a university in goterriers.com allowed us to
showcase more humor than clownpoop.com,” commented Matt Ball
when asked about the creative origin of the Web site.

“After a while, you just run out of clown poop, so we had
to create a new forum,” added Dave Ball.

Clownpoop.com was originally created as a joke satirizing the
decrepit condition of the Ball brothers’ first apartment. The
brothers described their first place, Casa Granada, as “a
disgusting apartment.” Being that the teammates frequently
got sick from the impoverished conditions, the Ball brothers and
their roommates created clownpoop.com to showcase the
ridiculousness of their apartment.

Team manager and Web site technician Beau Brannan plans to
update the site within the next week in order to add new jokes
about the current football coaching staff and team.
