Baseball, tennis rained out

Wednesday’s UCLA baseball game at No. 6 Cal State
Fullerton was cancelled due to rain. The game will be rescheduled
at a time to be determined in the future.

Weather permitting, the Bruins (3-4) play Friday, Saturday, and
Sunday against North Carolina State at Jackie Robinson Stadium.

Tuesday’s men’s tennis match against Loyola
Marymount was also rained out.

Women’s golf takes fifth

The UCLA women’s golf team finished in fifth place at the
Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge at Palos Verdes Golf Club after
the final round of the tournament, to be held on Wednesday
afternoon, was washed out due to heavy rain.

UCLA posted a two-round score of 608, one shot behind fourth
place Oklahoma State and 10 shots behind gold medalist
Pepperdine.

Sophomore Charlotte Mayorkas finished tied for second overall
with a combined score of 145, her best career finish at UCLA.
Mayorkas had the low round of the tournament with a three-under par
performance in the first round.

Junior Melissa Martin joined Mayorkas by placing in the top-10,
finishing tied for ninth place at 150.

Today, the UCLA men’s golf team will compete at the
TaylorMade Big Island Classic at Hawaii.
