Grand Theft

On Jan. 15, a 1999 Acura Integra was reportedly stolen from
Manning Avenue.

Two paintings valued at $2300 were taken from a property on
Warner avenue in the morning of the same day. There was no sign of
forced entry.

Petty Theft

On Jan. 15, a backpack worth $300 was stolen from a locker
outside the De Neve Plaza dining complex.

Later that day, a backpack valued at $370 was stolen from the
Wooden Center.

A $300 bicycle was also stolen from the Covel Commons bike rack
after unknown suspect(s) cut the lock securing it.

On Jan. 16, a $235 car stereo with a detachable face was
reported stolen from a 1993 Acura Integra in the Sunset Village
Parking Structure.

Miscellaneous

On Jan. 14, it was reported that eight suspects used a stick to
attack one male victim outdoors on Gayley Avenue. Suspects fled the
scene by vehicle.

On Jan. 15, a suspect was warned for urinating in the bushes on
the 3100 block of Sepulveda Avenue.

That evening, an unknown suspect was caught masturbating in a
reading room at the Bio Medical Library.

On Jan. 16, a suspect carrying a dark colored backpack was
reported to have started a fire at Landfair and Midvale.

On Friday Jan. 17, four Asian males were stopped in a 1984
Mercedes at Structure 32 on Veteran Avenue and found in possession
of ecstasy, pills and marijuana. One of the suspects was
arrested.
