The band XTC was founded in 1976, by current band members Andy
Partridge and Colin Moulding (and former drummer Terry Chambers).
The pop-rock band originated in Britain, and though had a strong
cult following, never made it the mainstream.

The album, “Upsy Daisy Assortment” is a greatest
hits collection that was released in 1997. It landmarks XTC’s
hits and is a very solid accumulation as far as best-of albums go,
as it takes songs that span the entire career of XTC. A key feature
of the album is that the listing of songs on the cover is
completely different from the actual order of the songs, but the
title of the songs are always included withhin the lyrics. Though
XTC wasn’t popularized much, “Upsy Daisy
Assortment” with its recognizable 80’s hits is a prime
CD to add to anyone’s collection.
