Petty theft One bike and two parking permits
were stolen during this period, leading to a total loss of $1,200.
Someone removed CDs and DVDs Thursday from a building on the 1000
block of Westwood Boulevard. Police received a report Wednesday
that someone stole $170 in postage stamps from a room on the first
floor of University Extension between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m.

Grand theft Someone removed stereo equipment
and a Playstation from an apartment on the 500 block of Veteran
Avenue Friday. Someone removed a backpack from Franz Hall between
2:50 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. Wednesday. The loss totaled $1,065. Parts
of a scooter were removed from the Sunset Village parking
structure, as reported Wednesday. The loss totaled $750. Two
computers, worth a total of $2,000, were removed from Young Hall,
as reported Wednesday.

Miscellaneous Someone slashed a tire on a car
on the 1000 block of Glendon Avenue between Saturday night and
Sunday afternoon. Someone stole a stereo from a car parked in the
Sunset Village parking structure.
