is at the El Rey on Nov. 14, with tickets on sale today.
Brit-pop group Spiritualized will perform at the Wiltern Theatre
on Nov. 13, and tickets go on sale on Oct. 12.
Punk band No Use for a Name are at the Glass House on Nov. 21,
and tickets will be on sale today.
Concerts:
New Times Music Awards featuring Black Eyed Peas and honoring
the punk band X are at the El Rey today.
Today acclaimed turntablist DJ Logic will be at the Knitting
Factory.
The newest acoustic guitar rock prodigy John Mayer will be at
the Roxy on Oct. 12.
Hip-hop group Pharcyde performs at Glass House on Oct. 13.
BB Kings Blues Festival is happening at Universal on Oct.

Ben Folds, formerly from Ben Folds Five, is at the El Rey on
Oct. 15 and 16.
Rap jokesters The Trilambs are at the Whiskey on Oct. 17.
New York band The Strokes are at the Palace on Oct. 18 with the
Moldy Peaches ““ tickets are sold out, but there is always
E-Bay.
Movies:
Action film “Iron Monkey,” behavioral comedies
“Bandits,” and “Who Is Corky Romano?” and
independent films “Debut” and “Mulholland
Drive” will be released on Friday, Oct. 12.
