Davis sends rescue teams to East Coast

Gov. Gray Davis ordered three California Urban Search and Rescue
teams to the East Coast today.

Teams from the Los Angeles Fire Department and the Riverside
Fire Department left from March Air Force Base in Riverside, Calif.
at 2 p.m. A team from the Sacramento City Fire Department left
Travis Air Force Base at 4 p.m.

Each team consists of four search dogs and 62 members ““
many of whom served in the aftermath of the Oklahoma City
bombing.
