Bruins ranked No. 15 in new coaches poll

The UCLA Bruin football team, which finished the 2000 season
unranked with a 6-6 record, opened this season at No. 15 in the
preseason ESPN/USA Today Top 25 coaches poll.

Along with UCLA, three other Pac-10 teams made it into the
rankings: No. 7 Oregon, No. 11 Oregon St. and No. 14
Washington.

The Bruins are scheduled to play five preseason top 25 teams,
including No. 21 Ohio St. and No. 25 Alabama.
