General Representative

As a general representative, I will open my ears to you, the
student, by setting regular office hours that will be well
advertised. I will also hold some of these office hours on Bruin
Walk and in other places on campus, making myself accessible to all
students.
I want to enhance and facilitate communication between student
groups and USAC. I want to make Kerckhoff Hall a more welcoming
place, where all students feel their voices will be heard. I also
want to implement a quarterly award that recognizes student groups
for outstanding programs that positively affect the campus.
I plan to participate in the planning and implementation of one
all-campus program each quarter. In the fall, I would like to work
on a program that registers students to vote and educates them
about the issues in the upcoming presidential election, so that our
voices are heard on a national level. In the Winter Quarter, I want
to bring back a program I created and implemented called Daisy Day,
which celebrated International Women’s Rights Day. For the
spring, I want to come up with a programming idea based on the
student group awards.
I am an experienced leader who has worked as a resident
assistant, a Leadership Intern supervisor, the Water Polo Club
president, a program assistant, a member of the Bruin Leaders
Project Student Facilitation Team and a camp counselor.
“Put the student back in USAC” by voting for me and
the other members of Viable Alternative.
