"Walking by Maloney’s, I saw the overtimes of the ‘SC football
game (in 1996)."

"The big, nutty party after the championship. Rubber bullets and
everything!"

"Listen-ing at the Rose Bowl for the score of Washington State
game, and cheering when they lost."

"The NCAA cross-country championships in the fall of ’97. That
was my fourth national championship."
