GOLF:

Women’s golf

This weekend UCLA women’s golf will compete at the Stanford
Intercollegiates. Last year the team placed third, while Amandine
Vincent tied for seventh.

Vincent has won a pair of tournaments already this year: the LSU
Fairwood Tournament and the Dick McGuire Invitational. Her showing
has catapulted her to No. 21 in the April 7 GolfStat Cup
rankings.

At the ASU Ping Invitational, April 3-6, the Bruins finished
sixth.

Men’s golf

The UCLA men’s golf team heads into the Stanford Invitational
with momentum. Capturing a team title in their last meet at the
Anteater Invitational and with sophomore Jason Semelsberger winning
in a one-hole play-off, the Bruins are poised to do damage.
