Speaks Out
What contributions has Generation X made to society,
and how will they be remembered?
"I think we’re the technological generation because all the
e-mail and the web sites came around during our time. We’ll be
remembered for generating all the technology."
Mara Campo
"Generation X will be remembered for their whining. They point
out all the problems and don’t come up with solutions."
Tony Kasses
"It’ll be a sense of realism, a loss of idealism. The Baby
Boomers had a lot of idealistic tendencies, and I think our
generation realizes that’s not possible. We’ll contribute a good
dose of realism."
Ryan Kelly
"It seems to me like they’re really a group of hooligans.
They’re little barbaric hooligans. It’s really pessimistic, I know,
but its just what I see on the streets."
Nadia Malik
"I think we’ll contribute more involvement in the community,
helping the community to be more balanced everywhere. That’s what I
hope, that would be my ideal."
Marie Rivera
"Generation X will be remembered as the generation that
ultimately brought down society: drugs, sex, murder, crime."
Mike Valverde
