After two seasons as UCLA’s coach, B.J. Snow has accepted the job of full-time coach for the USA U-17 team.

In those two seasons, the Bruins made it to the postseason twice, never going further than the Elite Eight.

In the 2012 season, Snow coached Pac-12 Player of the Year and first round draft pick in the United States Women’s League, Zakiya Bywaters.

Snow follows in the footsteps of former UCLA coach, Jill Ellis, who took a job with the U.S. national team after 12 years at UCLA.

Snow first came to UCLA in 2006 as a volunteer assistant coach, moving up to assistant before being named head coach after Ellis’ departure
following the 2010 season.

Snow has worked with the U.S. women’s national program over the years, and his job as Under-17 Women’s head coach will be his new full-time
position.

UCLA’s search for a new coach is currently under way.
