Window washers dressed as superheroes descended from the roof of Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA Wednesday, while the kids waved at them. The event ran from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. and was the fourth annual Superhero Day at UCLA. This year, the hospital’s window washing vendor, Sunland Window Cleaning Maintenance, decided to carry on its tradition of Superhero Day at UCLA, which was created in 2013 to bring smiles to the faces of the children in the hospital, many of whom have serious illnesses. The window washers dressed as superheroes such as Batman, Spider-Man and Wonder Woman among others.
