University police are searching for a person who entered a UCLA fraternity house on Landfair Avenue on Thursday and stole two laptops, a game console and cash.

The person entered the Sigma Phi Epsilon house at 522 Landfair Ave. between 8:45 p.m. and 9:50 p.m, according to a UCPD alert. Students reported the incident early Friday morning.

The police statement did not include a description of the person.

Police reported the theft of a student’s cell phone from the same fraternity house in August.

No further information was immediately available. The case is still under investigation.

UCPD recommends students lock all doors and windows.

Anyone with information about this case can call UCPD at 310-825-1491.
