"I just got these tights and they're warm," said Anna Huang, a first-year undeclared social sciences student.

"My biggest goal in life is to have the general public associate my name with a sunflower," said iAaliyah Sade, a first-year human biology and society student.

"My other shoes were ripped," said Kale Crear, a third-year history and African American studies student.

"Your fairy slay muva," said Elahn Harris, third-year anthropology and film student.

"I was born to slay," Harris added.

"Leopard print is life," said Cori Wilbur, fourth-year political science student.

"I love the spirit of the '80s," Wilbur added.

"I like layering, so I usually wear a cardigan over shorts or jeans. I was going for a boho look today," said Courtney Davis, a first-year mathematics/economics student.

"What else can I wear when I ran out of my beloved sweatpants and hoodies?" said Jing Wang, a second-year communication studies student.

"I dress based on my mood," Wang said.

"I got this coat in eighth grade, and people made fun of me for it. Now, they're trying to buy it off from me," said Vita Newsletter, a third-year Design | Media Arts student.

"I like to feel like a princess so I like to wear lace. I wear things that are cute," said Maria, a third-year linguistics and cognitive science student.

"I like to wear colors that make my skin tone pop out. I feel gloomy when I'm wearing grey and black," said Liz Okoth, a staff member at the UCLA School of Law.

"I work too hard to care about the way I dress. I just throw on whatever," said Chelsea Dormevil, a first-year transfer sociology and African American studies student.

"I didn't want to look too casual for a meeting," said Jasmine Virgen, a first-year business economics student.

Esther Lu, first-year business economics and political science student, said her style is "minimalist but contemporary."

Lu styles her clear glasses with her minimalist outfit.

"I'm wearing this jacket because I ride my motorcycle here, and it is cold when I'm driving 50 miles per hour," said Ashkan Nik, a third-year biology student.

"I don't look for the brand – I just buy whatever suits my style," Nik said.

"I lived in New York for my undergraduate years. Hence, my fashion sensibility. When you look good you feel good," said Laci Dent, a second-year graduate film student.

"I love bright patterns and oxford shoes," said Jessi Huffington, a first-year philosophy and English student.

"Life is like a smoothie so I like to mix things up a bit. I pick things out in the morning and decide that they are going on my body," said Riley Davis, a first-year mathematics/economics student.

"I would describe my style as borderline frumpy. I like a lot of classic styles, earthy colors and flowery patterns that sometimes look more worthy of upholstery than clothing, but I try to stick to my taste as much as possible. I really like my mom's style – not that she's frumpy though. I actually borrow a lot of her blazers and skirts from the '90s and now that I've moved to college, my closet feels really empty," said Annika Karody, a first-year English student.
