A motorcycle caught fire after it collided with a car in the North Village Thursday afternoon.

Firefighters received a call at 3:48 p.m. about a collision between a motorcycle and a car on Midvale Avenue near Ophir Drive, in which the motorcycle caught on fire, said Margaret Stewart, a Los Angeles Fire Department spokesperson.

She added no one was transported to a hospital, but did not know the state of the drivers.

No further information was immediately available.
