UCPD looking for man accused of child molestation

University police are searching for a man who touched a child inappropriately during a UCLA women’s soccer match at Drake Stadium Friday night.

The man sat behind the child on the bleachers about 9:20 p.m. and touched the child inappropriately, according to a UCPD alert. The man left the area when event staff confronted him.

The child is not affiliated with UCLA.

Police described the man as Hispanic, about 25 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 160 pounds with his hair slicked back, according to the alert. He was wearing a white shirt and dark jeans.

No further information was immediately available. The case is still under investigation.
