The registration issue back in 1963 gave a special highlight to the wonders and amazing qualities of UCLA at the time and all that the campus and school had to offer. The campus and what the school gives to students might have changed since then but Bruin pride has never stopped.

On January 29 of 1992, acclaimed actor Leslie Nielsen made a special visit to UCLA to speak to students about his life, acting career, and rise to fame. Nielsen led a successful career as an actor and will always be known as an icon. He passed away just a few years ago in 2010 at age of 84.
