UCLA football’s 2015 schedule announced

Sept. 16, 2014 10:03 p.m.

UCLA football’s 2015 schedule was announced Tuesday night on Pac-12 Networks.

Objectively, the Bruins seem to have a season easier than their 2014 schedule, which was ranked as the toughest in the nation by ESPN. In 2015, UCLA will not face Oregon, a perennial top-five team, but the Bruins do face some challenges in terms of weekday games.

The Bruins kick off their season much as they did last year, against Virginia, this time at home on Sept. 5. The rest of UCLA’s nonconference schedule includes an away game at UNLV and a home game against BYU.

UCLA’s first Pac-12 game comes on Sept. 26 at Arizona.

The middle portion of UCLA’s schedule becomes a bit more challenging, as the Bruins will have consecutive Thursday games at Stanford then at home against Cal in Weeks 7 and 8.

UCLA will finish its regular season on the road against USC.

UCLA’s entire 2015 football schedule, with the home games in bold, is as follows:

Sept. 5 – Virginia

Sept. 12 – UNLV

Sept. 19 – BYU

Sept. 26 – Arizona

Oct. 3 – Arizona State

Oct. 15 – Stanford (Thursday)

Oct. 22 – California (Thursday)

Oct. 31 – Colorado

Nov. 7 – Oregon State

Nov. 14 – Washington State

Nov. 21 – Utah

Nov. 28 – USC
