A prominent L.A. couple recently donated $1.5 million to the UCLA Anderson School of Management, creating an endowed term chair in management in their name.

Donnalisa Barnum, an Anderson School of Management alumna, and her husband William Barnum Jr., funded the endowment to support the teaching and research efforts of distinguished faculty, according to a school press release.

“Bill and I feel privileged to be able to give back to Anderson and further strengthen the caliber of research and instruction at the school,” Donnalisa Barnum said in the release.

Barnum, a former Wall Street employee, is a senior vice president at Capital World Investors, an investment management company. She also serves on the board of the UCLA Investment Company. William Barnum Jr. is a lead partner at an L.A. private equity firm.
