The No. 5 seed UCLA women’s tennis team made a quick 4-0 sweep of No. 8 seed Florida Monday afternoon, and now moves on to the NCAA championship finals in Athens, Ga.

The Bruins started the day off on a high note in doubles, winning their 28th consecutive doubles point with a 7-5 tiebreaker from junior Robin Anderson and freshman Jennifer Brady.

After losses to Florida in both the 2011 and 2012 semifinals, the Bruins had a strong comeback, with five of six players winning in their first singles matches.

Brady scored 6-1 in both her first and second sets, earning the Bruin’s their second point. Shortly after, Anderson won her second set, stacking another point against Florida.

It was junior Kaitlin Ray who finally clinched the match point in her third set, winning the Bruins their 4-0 victory and a chance to play No. 7 seed North Carolina in the NCAA championship finals on Tuesday.
