It's been one year since UCLA went tobacco-free on Earth Day, April 22, 2013. How do you feel the smoking ban has affected you, and is it worth it?
The smoking ban has resulted in cleaner air and a reduction of cigarette butt litter, which is worth any cost it may have imposed on tobacco users.
While the smoking ban has resulted in cleaner air and fewer butts, it is not worth the burden it has placed on tobacco users.
Regardless of the environmental affects, the smoking ban is not justified because it imposes a stigma on tobacco users.
I'm not sure how I feel about this matter.
