Listen: Westwood’s underground music scene flourishes despite lack of venues

Party options for a Thursday night always include a raging house party or a bar crawl, but how about a hip concert with a live band? Westwood’s underground music scene sprang up alongside a few key bands over the last few years to offset the otherwise sparse music venues Westwood has to offer. Graduating seniors of Alto, The Ten Thousand and Free Food reflect on their firsthand experiences in one of UCLA’s latest social phenomenons.
