The false wall built in 1992 along with the installment of Panda Express completely covers the mural behind it.

Portions of the wall covering the mural were temporarily removed on Tuesday to show off the mural.

ASUCLA student union director Roy Champawat points out features of the partially revealed mural, which has been somewhat damaged during its lifetime both on display and behind the false wall.

This photo illustration simulates what the mural would look like if the false wall were removed. As shown here, the mural would overlap with the edge of Panda Express.
