Speaks Out: Why did you choose to attend UCLA?

Admitted students will flood campus this weekend for Bruin Day. In light of this event, why did you choose to attend UCLA?

“Its reputation in research. I’m a history major, and so much money here goes toward the library, which is stocked with archival resources and primary sources. Other colleges couldn’t boast the same.”

“You can go anywhere in the country and say you go to UCLA, and people will know what you mean. Also, (UCLA) blends academics with a lot of other activities and opportunities.”
