The Bruins are preparing for their final course of the season.
But for one, it’s a course she knows very well.
“I have a lot of experience on this golf course – it’s right down the road from my house,” said sophomore Meghan Royal.

It’s hard to strike it rich in Las Vegas.
It’s even harder to do it twice.
But for Zoe Antoinette Campos, winning in Sin City has become second nature.
Only 11 schools sponsor women’s golf in the Pac-12, despite its name.
But while it may not be the largest conference, the Pac-12 boasts the second-most ranked teams at six, only behind the 14-team Southeastern Conference.
When Coach Alicia Um Holmes played for UCLA, it was in the Pac-10.
Five years into her assistant coaching career, the Pac-10 became the Pac-12.
Now, one year into her head coaching tenure, the Pac-12 is in its last leg.
A year ago, then-sophomore Caroline Canales jumped 16 spots up the leaderboard to finish in the top 10.
This year, the now-junior climbed eight spots past opponents to secure a third-place finish.
Junior Zoe Antoinette Campos brought home her second collegiate win from the Silverado Showdown last season.
But this year, Campos’ absence from the lineup leaves a hole to be filled.

Blue and gold might be the Bruins’ colors.
But they return donning gold and silver.
No. 4 UCLA women’s golf finished in a three-way tie for second place with a score of 8-under 856 at the PING/ASU Invitational at the Papago Golf Course in Phoenix from Thursday to Saturday.

Before Monday, junior Natalie Vo was the only Bruin to have played at Green Hills Country Club – which coach Alicia Um Holmes described as a challenging course.
