Women’s water polo clinches No. 1 seed for NCAA, multiple MPSF awards

The NCAA selection show was just the beginning. In less than 18 hours, the UCLA women’s water polo team officially won the No. 1 seed to the NCAA Tournament, Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Coach of the Year, Newcomer of the Year and conference tournament MVP. Read more...

Track and field wraps USC dual meet with win for men’s team

As far as dual meets go, the USC versus UCLA one produced results like no other in 2017. This year’s edition, which took place Sunday at USC’s Loker Stadium, had 22 men’s performances and 23 women’s performances make the top 95 in the nation – not counting those athletes already in the top 95 beforehand – and the split was almost dead-even. Women’s water polo prepares for MPSF championship as No. 1 seed

The current members on the UCLA women’s water polo team have never been the one seed in the conference championship tournament. They’ve made it to the championships twice, and won once, but both times as the two seed. Read more...
