April 9, 2012 “”mdash; Three lefts make a right, but according to a recent Wall Street Journal column by Peter Berkowitz, too many lefts may not lead the University of California in the right direction. Berkowitz references a recent study by the California Association of Scholars, which finds that UC students are receiving a weak and unbalanced education because of liberal bias. In response, Opinion columnist Alexandra Tashman has challenged this statement by bringing to light her views about the realities of left and right agendas in the UC system’s curriculum.
