April 2, 2011 – This week, Long Story Short’s new co-hosts Taylor Erickson and Christyana Cabal debut the first spring quarter show with interviews about alternatives. Second-year molecular and cell developmental biology student Reece Fenning had an alternative spring break, setting up health clinics in Nicaragua through the UCLA Global Medical Training program. Random Voices beatboxer and first-year Design | Media Arts student Julia Ramos shares the alternative musical style of beatboxing as she prepares for this weekend’s California A Cappella Festival. Last but not least, first-year undeclared student Nathan Palman talks about alternative and quick methods to achieving corporate success. He’s starring in the UCLA Hooligan Theatre Company’s “How to Succeed In Business Without Really Trying,” which which runs April 5-7 at the Freud Playhouse.
