Pediatric residents at the Mattel Children’s Hospital rallied at the entrance of their hospital on Tuesday in support of the renewal of federal funding for the State Child Health Insurance Program. President Bush plans to veto the bill, which affects 6 million children who rely on programs such as California’s Healthy Families program.
