The Associated Students UCLA said it expects to lose over $1 million this fiscal year because of decreasing textbook sales and growing labor costs. ASUCLA’s directors intend to alleviate these losses by bringing in a variety of restaurants, such as Veggie Grill and Blaze Pizza, to the student union. What do you think about this?
ASUCLA’s plan to bring in more restaurants is a good move, as it will help the union entice more students to come and eat meals there.
ASUCLA shouldn’t invest in new restaurants because more students wouldn’t come to the union just for new food.
ASUCLA’s sales will continue to decline regardless of what new services it brings in because students are accustomed to searching elsewhere for their needs.
I have feelings about this issue that are not expressed in the options above.
