Since last year, the Office of Residential Life has offered students the option to stay on the Hill during winter break. Several students, including first-year neuroscience student Zhongyue Zhang, chose to stay in on-campus housing instead of going home.

After most students had packed their bags and gone home for winter break, voices continued to echo through the cold corridors of Sproul Hall, as a select group of students chose to spend their winter break on the Hill. More »

Community members are concerned that trees are lifting up sidewalks in Westwood. As early as January 2013, 18 trees along Westwood Boulevard, Kinross Avenue and other areas around the city will be removed and replaced.

Students walking down Westwood Boulevard may notice a change in the scenery in the coming months as Westwood officials move forward with plans to remove several trees in the area, despite opposition from community members. More »
