The end of the pier offers an unobstructed view of the ocean. This is a great place to watch the sunset over the water.

Lots of people use the pier for fishing. People set up multiple fishing rods as they wait for fish to bite.

If you want to take a dip in the ocean, the pier has easy access to the beach as well as faucets to wash off the sand afterwards.

Take a detour to Third Street Promenade which is right by the pier. This open-air and car-free center is a great place to shop, eat and watch street performers.
