Juan Jose Ferreiro, a UCLA Extension business and entrepreneurship student, wore a graphic T-shirt, which he purchased from Supreme, and black pants from Lululemon Athletica. He wears the color often and finds all-black outfits to be very fashionable, he said.
Matthew Dunham bought his pair sneakers from GREATS that was designed in collaboration with former NFL player Marshawn Lynch. The third-year political science student’s pants and sweaters are both from Target. Dunham said he likes the thin material of his sweater for the spring weather and the contrast his white shoes create.
Delilah Gamson Levy, a third-year dance student, got her pants from her mom and her sweatshirt from a thrift store. She said the outfit is easy to put together since all black is hard to style wrong.
Yvonne Yuan sported black Levi’s jeans, a top from Moussy and black shoes from Urban Outfitters. The fourth-year music history student said she finds wearing all black convenient because she doesn’t have to worry about finding colors that match.
Graduate student Sean Ji sported a sweatshirt and sweatpants from Monster Guardians, a Chinese athletic wear brand, a hat from Cotton On and Nike sneakers. Ji chose his outfit because it matches well and because Monster Guardians sponsors his trainer, he said.
