Jaylen Hands announced in an Instagram post Wednesday afternoon that he will be entering his name into the upcoming 2018 NBA Draft.

However, the freshman guard will not be hiring an agent at this time, making a return to UCLA possible. Last season, Aaron Holiday and Thomas Welsh preserved their eligibility by not hiring an agent leading up to the draft, and ultimately decided to return to Westwood for another season.

Hands appeared in 31 games for the Bruins this past season and made 15 starts. He averaged 9.9 points, 4 rebounds and 2.6 assists in just over 25 minutes per game.

He is currently ranked No. 35 on ESPN’s Big Board of best available players in this year’s draft.
