Odette, danced by Petra Conti, is a maiden that is under a spell cast by the sorcerer Von Rothbart that turned her into a swan. She is the swan queen of all of the maidens on Von Rothbart's spell.

Prince Siegfried sees Odette in the forest, and she explains to him that the spell may only be broken if a man that is pure of heart pledges his love to her.

The Dance of the Cygnets, sometimes referred to as the Dance of the Four Little Swans, is an iconic part of the ballet. The four dancers link hands as they dance across the stage, not letting go until the very end.

The swans are called away to break apart Prince Siegfried and Odette by Von Rothbart. Odette must leave as the Prince returns to the castle.

A ball is held at the castle where people come from all over. The Spanish dancers, performed by Leah McCall and Joshua Brown, embody a Spanish flare as they perform for the Prince.
